Palmetto Hall Golf Resort - Hilton Head, South Carolina
Featuring 36 holes of incredible golf, the Palmetto Hall Plantation is a perfect addition to The
Heritage Collection on Hilton Head. Your great game of golf will only be enhanced by the loads of Southern Charm
that just come standard at this South Carolina Golf Course. From the meticulously maintained greens
to the natural beauty surrounding the course you will soon understand why Palmetto Hall is a must play for every
golfer.
The first of Palmetto Hall's two golf courses is the Arthur Hills Course that was opened in 1991.
This course was named after its famed designer, Arthur Hills. When it was opened Golf Magazine automatically declared
it a "classic" while also rating it as one of America's Top 10 new courses. Playing this course you will feel like
you are taking a serene walk in the woods. The fairways are lined with tall pine trees and moss-draped oaks.
Combine this with the crystalline lakes dispersed throughout your course and you will never want to play another
course again.
Providing a perfect compliment to the Arthur Hills Course is the Robert Cupp Course, which like its
sibling course was named after its designer, the famed Robert Cupp, Golf World's former Architect of the Year.
Opened in 1993, this is a more versatile course that provides a challenge to the better players while also
accommodating higher handicapped players as well. Of the two courses, this one is more open providing more
opportunity for longer drives.
After your game walk to the 14,000 square foot clubhouse and experience southern charm firsthand. Sit on one of the
double porches and look over the immaculately manicured lawns while sipping on a drink. In addition to this, the
grille located within the clubhouse is perfect for an intimate meal or a dinner with friends. Whatever it is you
desire, your needs and wants will be serviced by Palmetto Hall's professional, friendly staff. No request goes
unmet.
After an amazing day at the Palmetto Hall Golf Club spend some time exploring Hilton Head Island
which features world famous golf, dining and shopping making it a perfect place for your next golf outing or family
vacation.
