Dye Course
The Barefoot Resort & Golf is one of North America’s premiere golf resorts and boasts some of the best
golf in the Myrtle Beach area. Located on the Grand Stand with courses that take you along the Intracoastal
Waterway create the perfect scenery for your next Myrtle Beach golf vacation.
The golf at Barefoot is what makes the resort come to life. There are 4 different 18-hole championship
courses to choose from. They have been designed by some of the biggest names in course design – Greg Norman,
Pete Dye, Davis Love III and Tom Fazio. Playing all four of theses courses would make you think that you
would have to travel all over the world to find four incredible courses at one resort. Each course is unique in
their own way which makes for 4 rounds of some the best and challenging golf in South Carolina.

Norman Course
The Greg Norman Course is an immaculate work of art. Norman was able to construct a course within the
existing terrain and use existing flora and use it to frame the course. The Norman Course has seven holes that
have you play alongside the Intracoastal Waterway, where the fairways run into the sand of the banks. You will
find many of the greens have been designed in the “bump and run” style of play that Norman is known for. An
overall challenging course but guaranteed to be a good time for golfers of all skill levels.
Another course at Barefoot is a course designed by Carolina native, Davis Love III. The Love course shows his
able to design with his Lowcountry style. One of the main features is the old plantation house that was on the
property is still there. You will find yourself having a true southern golf experience while playing around
the house. The course also boasts many open fairways and generous landing areas, making it a fun course to play.

Fazio Course
World renowned course architect Tom Fazio also has a course at Barefoot Resort. The Fazio Course is
located at the center of the Barefoot Resort property. The course will immerse you in southern golf with
water features on 15 holes, gentle rolling fairways and numerous live oaks. While immersed in play will not
even notice that you do not return to the clubhouse after 9 holes; like most golf courses. Neither would you
want to stop, the Fazio Course is one that makes you love the sport and is just a pleasure to play.
The fourth course at Barefoot is the Pete Dye Course. Pete Dye has designed many courses in South Carolina
and knows exactly what people want when they play there. Pete is able to give you a course that you will
remember for ever but not without a challenge. The Dye Course is both beautiful and treacherous, building
in many pitfalls that can catch you in a bind with a misplaced shot. With the challenge of a usual Dye
designed golf course, the one at Barefoot Resort is not exception – bring your “A” game.
